Racing Program

For drivers with current racing license, novice racing license, or NASA provisional license and tech approved race-car.

Licensing - A NASA competition or racing license is required for those that want to compete in any racing run group. NASA TEXAS recognizes competition and racing licenses from these racing organizations or sanctioning bodies.

We recognize the following licenses to qualify for a NASA Competition License:

Current or recent PCA, POC, BMW-CCA, LEGENDS, Baby Grands, SCCA, VMC, COMMA, FIA, Grand-AM and NASA.

Over the course of a typical NASA Texas weekend entrants can expect:

  • 1 practice-test/tune session
  • 2 qualification sessions
  • 3-4 races
  • A minimum of approximatley 2 hours of track time
  • Fun for family and friends. You have the option to purchase extra track time during the DE group sessions so you can get extra practice. Approval for this is based upon entries received in the DE group.
  • Detailed printed results of each lap time for each
    practice and qualification session.
  • NASA TEXAS Championship Season Points calculated from all races
  • Medals / Awards issued for all races: 1st-3rd
  • Qualify for the National Championship
